Better Jobs Ontario (BJO) provides eligible job seekers with skills training from a recognized college for in-demand occupations. Better Jobs Ontario can provide Job Seekers with the following:
- Financial support, covering costs up to $28,000 including tuition, books, other instructional costs, transportation, and basic living allowance (up to $500/week)
- Additional funding may be available for childcare, disability supports and living away from home costs

Do I Qualify for Better Jobs Ontario?
You may qualify for Better Jobs Ontario if:
- You have been laid-off and have not been working or are working a temporary job just to cover costs
- You have not been laid-off but have been unemployed for six months or longer, and are part of a low-income household
- You can still apply for Better Jobs Ontario even if you are the recipient of Employment Insurance (EI), Ontario Works (OW), or Ontario Disability Support Programing (ODSP)
