Resume Building, Resume Editing, and Cover Letter Support
Our Employment Consultants will work with you 1-1 to create a new resume or update your existing resume so you can put your best foot forward and stand out against the crowd!
Skills Building, Workshops and Coaching
ReStart has a variety of Online Workshops that present job seekers with a variety of essential workplace certifications. Some workshops we offer for FREE include: WHMIS, Safe Food Handling, AODA etc. In some circumstances, your Employment Consultant may be able to support your training in more specialized certifications such as Working at Heights or First Aid training, speak to your Employment Consultant today for more details.
1-1 Supported Job Search
Your Employment Consultant can help you tailor your job search to suit your career goals. Your Employment consultant can teach you how to use various online job search engines and software, and coach you on how to best use these tools to successfully obtain employment!
Interview Preparation and Support
Your Employment Consultant can help you ace your interview through training and support on top interview skills, tips and tricks. Your Employment Consultant can also support you through mock interview sessions, coaching and mentoring on today’s “top employer interview questions and much more!
Career Exploration
Feeling stuck in your job search? Changing career goals? Your Employment Consultant can help you narrow down job interests by using a variety of different career assessments to determine which career path might be best suited for you! Your Employment Consultant can also help you understand the local labour market and current hiring trends!
Job Placements
Our registered clients get access to our ReStart Now Jobs – positions that are posted by local employers looking to hire our clients! Clients who are registered with an Employment Consultant may be eligible for potential job placement opportunities, to help set you apart from the competition!

Your Employment Consultant cares about your success and wants to continue to support you for the first year after you have started working! Your Employment Consultant will reach out to you periodically over the first year of your employment to check in on your employment status and to offer additional services should you need them!

Your Employment Consultant will also ask for employment verification at 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months and 12 Months after you have obtained employment. We are required to submit documentation that supports proof of employment to our funder. This process helps to keep us accountable to deliver services that help clients achieve lasting employment!
