Computers, Printers & Fax
- Our Resource & Information centre comes fully equipped with 5 computers, printers, and fax machines. Clients are welcome to use the technology in the resource room to update their resumes, send job applications, check emails and browse any of our online job search resources!
- Clients are welcome to use the printers to print copies of their resumes, cover letters or other job-search related materials at no cost!
Interview Resources
- The R&I Centre has dedicated resources to help our clients ace their interviews! From mock interviews with staff members, tools and resource worksheets to help guide you to interview success, and workshops, we have what you need to become an interview master!
- Our R&I also has a SnapCab office space available. This office space is sound-proof and offers an exceptional workspace for clients who need a quiet and professional space to complete online workshops or virtual interviews!
Job Search Resources
- Our centre has a large library of job search tools and resources available to our clients for free. Our staff can assist you in learning how to use various online job-search software, and help to guide you through effortless job applications online!
Community Information
- Our community information bulletin includes information on all event, workshops, training and job fairs happening around the City of Kingston! Our Bulletin is regularly updated by our team and can help you stay in the loop on all upcoming events within the city to help you stay connected!
Online Workshops
- Clients can access our abundant library of online workshops (which offer certifications for completion) on various essential workplace skills and competencies. Some of our most popular online workshops include WHMIS, AODA, Employment Standards Act, Violence and Harassment, and Customer Service Standards. All of our online workshops are available in our resource centre and come with certificates. Our online workshops are an excellent way to add new skills and training to your resume, for free!
